A lifelong love of fashion and a career in the clothing industry led Kindsey Ringenberg to open her own clothing store, The Brass Monkey.
Kindsey knew she had the knowledge to operate a clothing store, but needed assistance on how to start a business and financial guidance. For this she turned to the Idaho SBDC. Here, coaches worked with her on executing a detailed business plan and – after getting rejected by several banks – worked with her to obtain a Region IV Development Corporation loan.
Owning her business and having it located in the heart of the Magic Valley has allowed her to live her passion and engage with her community.
