Michelle Rudas and Scott Marshall had lived in Florida most of their lives. They agreed they needed a change, so in 2018 they began looking for a business to buy. After finding a tutoring business for sale in Twin Falls, Idaho, and not knowing anything about Idaho, they contacted the SBDC in Twin Falls. They then were put in contact with Brent Jussel. . Brent showed interest in their idea, idea and introduced them to Mary Burgess. Mary undertook enormous research on the need for educational services in the Twin Falls area. After reviewing the research they decided to visit Twin Falls in late January 2019. Unfortunately, their plan to purchase the business fell through. Rather than give up, they decided to start a new tutoring business. With the help of the SBDC, their dream finally came to fruition. On July 2, 2019, they officially opened the doors to Success Learning Center. Since opening, they have worked with more than 300 students, ranging in age from 4 to college graduate students, and even a few grandparents. The business continues to grow and prosper.
